Permission Roles
Permission Roles are quite similar to Discord roles. They control what a member can do, and can be assigned across your organization to Members, Job Roles, and Teams.
A Member, Job Role, and Team can be assigned to an unlimited number of Permission Roles.
Usage Examples
Role Example 1 - BBB Warehouse Access
Title
BBB Warehouse
Role Authority Level
0
Assigned Permissions
None Assigned
Storage Access
BBB Warehouse
This role doesn't have any access scopes that would be overridden by a higher role authority level.
Role Example 2 - Executive
Title
Executive - Member Management
Role Authority Level
100
Assigned Permissions
View Members
View Member Hours
Modify Members
Hire Members
Fire Members
Storage Access
None Assigned
We don't assign Storage Access in this role so they can be assigned separately from executive's power to change members.
The Role Authority Level is high here - this is so we can set roles below it with less power (such as a Manager, so they can't fire an Executive).
Role Example 3 - Manager
Title
Manager - Member Management
Role Authority Level
50
Assigned Permissions
View Member Hours
Modify Members
Hire Members
Fire Members
Storage Access
We don't assign Storage Access in this role so they can be assigned separately from a manager's power to change members.
The Role Authority Level is lower than Example 2 here - this is so we can set roles below it with less power, while still allowing other roles to be higher. Example: Lower = Supervisor
Higher = Executive
